About Africa Our Home

Africa Our Home (AOH) is a U.S. registered nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to education, digital literacy, and meaningful global learning opportunities across Africa. Through partnerships with local institutions and community leaders, AOH develops programs that empower young people, educators, and professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing digital world.

Our work spans several countries in West Africa, including Ghana, Togo, and Benin, where we support educational initiatives, community development programs, and international exchange experiences for students and volunteers.

AOH is also the organization behind MonTogo.net, our flagship digital education platform which provides hundreds of free tutorials designed to help beginners learn essential computer and internet skills.

MonTogo.net Digital Literacy

MonTogo.net is our flagship educational platform providing free digital skills training. Through simple step-by-step tutorials, learners can develop essential computer and internet skills including Microsoft Office, safe internet use, and digital productivity.

The project has produced more than 350 educational videos and has reached thousands of learners worldwide. MonTogo.net was nominated for the 2025 UNESCO International Literacy Prizes.
